Skip all this headache and go through Best Buy. I have the receipt, I have the order number but I can't seem to get it fixed. After finally sending in a copy of my credit card receipt and my online order number this morning I was informed that my credit card statement wasn't decisive enough proof and they completely cancelled my return so I have to start over. For example I have called and chatted with them 6 times now and one of them accidentally added the product I was trying to register 9 times on the page, which has confused all other people who attempt to help me. The process is ridiculously convoluted and the employees both on phone and chat seem to exist only to make it more convoluted. I was prepared for this as I've read many people talk about the build quality being inferior for a 150 dollar controller so I went ahead and got the 2 year extended warranty with a WalMart Care plan. I have literally spent three nights now trying to get my controller replaced after the left bumper popped out and the left stick dislocated after four months of use.
